Helēna Sorokina (born 1989 in Riga, Latvia) specializes in contemporary vocal music and concert singing. She studied voice and vocal pedagogy at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. Since 2021, she has been a doctoral candidate, and since 2022, a university assistant at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz’s Doctoral School of Art and Science.
As a concert singer, she performs regularly for the EuropaChorAkademie and various orchestras (including the Israel Chamber Orchestra, Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, Kurpfälzisches Kammerorchester, Thüringer Philharmonie Gotha, Ornamentum Wien, and Georgisches Kammerorchester Ingolstadt, among others).
She has collaborated with conductors such as Sir Roger Norrington, Joshua Riffkin, Paolo Paroni, Joshard Daus, Johannes Prinz, and Beat Furrer.
