Silvia Rosani: T-O
for two sopranos, countertenor, tenor and bass
(2013)Silvia Rosani was born in Italy. She studied composition in Udine and at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, as well as electronics in Trieste. She attended masterclasses in composition with Klaus Huber, Beat Furrer, and Salvatore Sciarrino, among others. Currently, Silvia Rosani primarily works with electronic media. Additionally, she is a choral conductor, which means the voice also plays a significant role in her compositional work. Silvia Rosani is currently pursuing a PhD in Composition at Goldsmiths, University of London. She wrote her piece for Mediterranean Voices as a cooperative fellow of Akademie Schloss Solitude.
