Nimrod Katzir: Men Sing
for four voices and live-electronics
(2013/2014)Nimrod Katzir was born in Israel in 1988. He studied sound design and post-production and has a strong interest in sound arts. In 2007, Nimrod Katzir moved to London with a scholarship from the RCM Foundation, where he studied composition at the Royal College of Music under Jonathan Cole. From 2009, he received composition lessons from Rebecca Saunders and Chaya Czernowin. Currently, Katzir primarily works in the field of electronic music and as an organiser of electronic music concerts in Tel Aviv. He wrote his composition for Mediterranean Voices as a cooperative fellow of Akademie Schloss Solitude.
