Jakob Riecke

Jakob Riecke started playing the cello at the age of 9. From 2020, he began to study music theory and composition on his own and took piano lessons. He has been taking cello lessons from Markus Tillier (SWR Orchestra) since 2022 and was a junior student of composition with Hannes Seidl at the HMDK Stuttgart in 2023. In 2024 he was awarded a national prize in the ‘Jugend komponiert’ competition and has now been studying composition with Luxa M. Schüttler at the HMDK Stuttgart since autumn 2024.
