The composer and performance artist Marcus Schmickler is developing a music project together with the artist Tim Berresheim. With his kaleidoskopic electronic sounds, Schmickler takes a look back to our present from an imagined future, which he describes as the so-called »digital Stone Age«. Tim Berresheim is designing a state set based on digital measurements of the caves ot the Swabian Alb. The artist is also represented with several works in the exhibition.
Marcus Schmickler and Tim Berresheim would like to thank Marie Te Hapuku, the Blaubeuren Museum of Prehistory, Friederike Potengowski, Hannes Wiedman, Barbara Spreer, Leon Monschauer, and Ulrike Groos.
The concert is an event organised by the KUNSTMUSEUM STUTTGART
