New Sounds of the FutureWorkshop junge Komponisten

The New Sounds of the Future workshop (5 to 13 August 2025) is aimed at young composers.
Against the backdrop of rapidly changing global conditions and structures and contradictory social concepts worldwide, they are invited to exchange ideas on current artistic positions, goals and the necessary composition techniques in a multi-part workshop lasting 15 months.

The New Sounds of the Future workshop is part of an international support programme organised and financed by the Goethe Institute Vilnius, Musik der Jahrhunderte, the Lithuanian Ensemble Network and the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre.

 

The workshop will take place in several consecutive phases in Vilnius and Stuttgart from December 2024 to February 2026 and will include festival visits, masterclasses, residencies and work phases.
