In this music theatre work, our everyday reality becomes the stimulus for far-reaching trans-formations: small commonplace observations, views of our surroundings, listening into our acoustic environment, form the starting point for a poetic, dramatic and perhaps utopian journey into the reality of human perceptual and emotional capacity. ‘The three media as »magnets« of our being’–speaking, seeing and listening–are placed in relation to one an-other in the form of three tableaus: speaking changes listening changes seeing changes un-derstanding of language. This creates a ‘kaleidoscope’ in which being human, society, per-ception and above all the possibilities for change are examined. Daily Transformations as a living installation on stage: an architecture of instruments and three screens that are brought to live by the players, the singers and by animated images.
